The Flood
And Lo! it did rain and the people did say unto each other, 'let us build boats, for only then will our feet stay dry.' And thus were the boats built, but the people were not happy for they said unto their neighbours, 'thou hast a bigger craft than me and all the wood is gone. Was't not said that all men stand equal before the flood?' And so the people did stave in the boats of their richer neighbours and the wealthy people were drowned. And still it rained. And a man came unto the people and said he was come from God. He said unto the people: 'if ye would stop the rain, get into the waters and trust unto me.' And thus the people did for their feet were very wet already and the man had a most impressive beard. But when the people had all left their boats and taken to the waters of the flood, the rain did not cease and the people became angry with the man because they could not swim. The poor people drowned amongst the bodies of their wealthy neighbours and the man drifted off from the city supported by the beard, which was a miracle and all the fowls of the air did wonder at it.

Tough beginning
First of all, I reckon that it’s pity that nobody has written anything yet and therefore it seems that I am a forerunner on this blog. I don’t know the reason why the weblog isn’t visited by other students or staff… probably it is due to the fact that they are learning all the time (I mean the students obviously) and the only thing they have time for is sleep or, if someone prefers, looking for ex-classmates on nasza-klasa.pl (by the way, it has become some sort of epidemic recently :)). As far as the blog is concerned, I think that it can be not only a good place for expressing our, more or less, subjective views about the college and boring life in Sieradz, but also it can serve as ‘the headmaster’s virtual pulpit’. It happens quite often that something is to be announced to the students when the tutor is absent or the students are still in the pubs and somehow they cannot stoop off the college. So, the quickest and I thing the most convenient way to do so is to write it on the blog, not to say that it certainly would gain popularity. I’m not sure whether it is possible, but maybe putting some photos might be another feature that could attract the students to the heated debate, as well. Ok, this is the end of my gibberish :) Regards!
Seweryn
P.S. Sorry for possible mistakes (however I hope there will be no mistakes after three hours of checking in dictionary).
